  On initial entry to the premises we had a friendly welcome, were shown to a table and given a highchair for our granddaughter. That is where the good hospitality ended. Having ordered 2 main meals and a side of chips (for our granddaughter) the chips were forgotten. Halfway through our meals we had noone visit our table I had to go to the bar and remind them of the chips. The chips arrived once we had nearly finished our meals which we had to share with our granddaughter as she was hungry. By the time they were a safe temperature for her to eat she had fallen asleep so they were wasted. No cutlery, napkin or place mat was offered for her. We sent the chips back with our empty plates and asked for desert menu. 15 minutes later the waitress returned with menus by this point we had been sat for 10 minutes with empty glasses. At this point we said no to the dessert, and decided to leave. During our visit the pub was not busy so there was no excuse for their lapse service. We were charged for the chip even though they were not served at a time for them to be consumed and upon speaking to the manager I explained that I was not happy with our dining experience and the reasons why I was not offered a genuine apology. Further to this although my wife's chicken was tasty the lamb was unseasoned and bland. When visiting their website to place a review I found myself unable to do so presume they only allow positive reviews. Will not be going there again!!
